The Enrolled Nurse is primarily responsible for medication administration, wound management and  for the supervision of Personal Carers working in their areas of responsibility. 



As the first line supervisor the Enrolled Nurse is expected to manage day to day issues that arise and ensure effective communication with the Registered Nurses to maintain optimal customer focused care of our Residents and encourage a positive team environment within the facility.


This role will be casual in the first instance and will require an individual who is flexible to cover am and pm shifts across a 7 day roster with the flexibility to work at both our Parkrose Village and Glenrose Court.


The person we are seeking will be a highly skilled,  flexible, reliable and experienced Enrolled Nurse. Your demonstrated leadership skill  and knowledge of the  aged care environment will ensure you make an effective contribution to each team.



Key experience skills & attributes:

  • Enrolled Nurse with a minimum 12 months post graduate Aged Care experience
  • Excellent time management with the flexibility to meet changing requirements
  • Excellent customer service delivery
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Demonstrated understanding and compliance with Aged Care Standards and WH&S legislation
  • Excellent general clinical, wound management and medication administration skills
  • Sound understanding of the ACFI and associated assessment processes

Experience with and understanding of the aged care accreditation assessment process will be highly regarded
